About the course
- Are you curious about the world of acting and want to explore your creative side? Do you want to meet new people, boost your confidence, and start to develop your acting skills?
- Then our three day ‘Acting for Beginners’ course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama is designed with you in mind. You don’t need to have any previous experience, just a desire to have a go for yourself and work with others.
- Our highly experienced teachers will introduce you to practical acting exercises and techniques in one of Central’s rehearsal spaces. You will explore your creativity in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with other intrepid students who want to find out more!
Programme Structure
Course content:- Explore techniques in freeing the actor’s voice, imagination and physicality through practical exercises
- Take part in various acting exercises including improvisation and character development exercises.
- Work as part of a supportive group to create short creative pieces
- Develop your collaborative skills and begin to perform with and in front of your fellow students
