Overview
About the course
- Over the course of three weeks of intensive training and rehearsal at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, you will work collaboratively with an experienced director and a company of students actors, to create and share a piece of live theatre.
- You will grow your performance skillset and work in a collaborative atmosphere to investigate listening to yourself and your fellow actors. You will develop tools for reading, researching and unlocking a text, expanding the actor’s imagination and ability to be truthful in the moment.
- The collaborative journey of developing a performance alongside an ensemble of other actors, guided by the skillful leadership of a talented director, can be one of the most rewarding experiences for any actor. The three-week Summer Theatre Company at Central is the opportunity to do exactly that.
