Overview
About the course
Over the course of three weeks of intensive training and rehearsal at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, you will work collaboratively with an experienced director and a company of students actors, to create and share a piece of live theatre.
You will grow your performance skillset and work in a collaborative atmosphere to investigate listening to yourself and your fellow actors. You will develop tools for reading, researching and unlocking a text, expanding the actor’s imagination and ability to be truthful in the moment.
The collaborative journey of developing a performance alongside an ensemble of other actors, guided by the skillful leadership of a talented director, can be one of the most rewarding experiences for any actor. The three-week Summer Theatre Company at Central is the opportunity to do exactly that.
