About the course
- Students will be supported and guided through various techniques, including the use of intaglio and relief print presses. The processes learned are then used to print onto different flat surfaces, including found source imagery, specialist printmaking papers, fabrics, latex and light coloured wood.
- This Mixed Media Printmaking course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) develops thought processes, such as colour theory and composition, which can be applied to many art and design disciplines, including, painting, drawing and photography. It is suitable for beginners and even professional illustrators, designers or artists who would like to add an experimental approach to their work.
