Course outcomes
By the end of this Painting the Next Step course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) you will:

General requirements
In order to get the most out of this course you should bring the following materials to your first session:
- one canvas of A2 size approximately
- paint brushes
- oil or acrylic paint colours, whichever you prefer to work with
- photos of previous work
- odour free mineral spirit (turpentine is not allowed)
- some ideas about the subject matter(s) that you want to explore during the course
For Health and Safety reasons students are not allowed to bring any solvents to the studio. We will provide low odour mineral spirits.
Any kind of spray products, turpentine or white spirits are banned from the building and the internal courtyard.
