- Adobe Photoshop has become the most powerful and popular computer application for image making for designers and artists alike. Photoshop is the software that is now used for a huge range of applications from webdesign and product illustration to photographic correction or to illustration or textile and fashion design and illustration.
- This Adobe Photoshop Workshop at the University of the Arts London (UAL) will help you to learn and make best use of the software whatever the final output might be, print or screen.
Programme Structure
How you will learn:
- This course is suitable for beginners, and will use the most recent version of Adobe Photoshop.
- All students should plan on attending the first session because the material covered is essential to the rest of the course. Students that do not attend the first session will find it difficult to catch up.
- There are a maximum of eight students enrolled on each session to ensure that you get plenty of one-to-one tuition from your tutor and the class can work at a speed to suit the whole group.

General requirements
Please bring with you to the first session:
- NON DIGITAL prints/drawings/ textures as well as digital files from your own camera. As we will be looking at scanning in various ways in the first session this is really important.
- A notebook
- A pen
- A usb stick
- Some prints / photographs to scan
- For the first session you will need to think of some ways of collaging/montaging at least two of your images together
