Overview
About the course
Konstantin Stanislavski was one of the greatest living theatre practitioners who transformed the actors training from formulated clich to inner process and emotional reality. His legacy still lives on today in the training of actors worldwide.
Nowhere was this more prevalent than in America, where a group of visionaries took Stanislavski's work and developed what is now known as the 'Method', made famous by the Actor's Studio New York, which produced actors such as Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. This Acting - An Introduction to Stanislavski and the Method course is offered at the University of the Arts London (UAL).
