- Anticipating where the market will be in future gives the designer an important commercial tool.
- The Fashion and Textile Forecasting course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) covers forecasting of fashion and textile concepts and introduces you to a working perspective of the fashion industry.
Programme Structure
Topics covered:- You will look at events and information, and through group discussion you will analyse and define trends with improving confidence.
- You will experiment with visual research and presentation techniques.
- Individual work projects will be set for you to develop forecast concept boards, which will include personal inspiration and trade research, with fabric, colour and garment direction.
