- You will finish the course with an introductory knowledge of the skills required by the film industry such as spatial awareness, model making and technical drawing.
- In addition, the Art Direction for Film course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) will give you an insight into the processes involved in a working art department.
Programme Structure
Topics covered:- Rather than accepting easy conventional solutions, the emphasis of this course is on developing your own interpretation through exploration and experimentation in response to a narrative.
- In order to facilitate this, participants will be asked to bring homework in progress to each class, so that they can develop their own ideas and skills base.
- It is also important that participants engage with group discussions in order to fully benefit from the course.
- You can also expect to spend some time watching examples of films.
