About the course
Couture Tailoring course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) is a practical course that concentrates on the production of a quality couture garment and it will offer the specialist skills that are necessary for a couture tailored garment.
Alongside the practical work a reference file will be developed containing notes and illustrations of the different stages covered in your practical example. You will be working on a half couture jacket and taken through the different steps of construction using a combination of hand stitching and machine-sewing skills.
