This Creative Writing - Fact or Fiction - Intensive course at the University of the Arts London (UAL) is your chance to deepen the experience; with specific assignments, longer projects or personal work in progress. You choose. Please apply only if you have successfully completed an introductory writing course at Central Saint Martins or elsewhere.
Programme Structure
Clear, easy to understand lessons:- Our tutors will explain things in easy to understand, accessible English. If they need to use any special terminology they will make sure they explain what they mean.
- New methods will be shown to students through live demonstrations, in a way that’s crystal clear and easy to understand.

- Hard copies of your work - keep a notebook!
- Describe a disease with loving lyricism (500 words of well crafted prose). Describe a flower with violent fear and loathing (another 500 words). Consider mood, sub-text, momentum, implicit 'back-story'...Who is the narrator? Whose perspective is conveyed?
