About the course
- The future of healthcare and medical science will be closely connected to developments in key technological areas, and this module will provide students with a foundation in cutting-edge tools and techniques from the world of healthcare technology.
- Learning on this Healthcare and Technology course King's College London will be via pre-recorded and live lectures and tutorials.
- You will learn to use a range of software tools, including mechatronics simulators, basic CAD software, 3D printing software and medical imaging viewing and manipulation tools. This will be augmented with live technology demonstrations.

By the end of the module, you should have:- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of key topics in Healthcare Technology, including the basics of medical imaging, 3D printing, robotics and AI.

General requirements
- Open to students who are currently, or have been, enrolled in an undergraduate degree. We also welcome applications from professionals who have substantial relevant experience in their chosen subject area.
- Minimum grade requirement of 2:1 degree equivalent.
- English language requirement of at least level C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).
- Minimum age at the start of the course is 18 years old.
