This Electrician Stage One and Two Practical Assessment course at Unitec Institute of Technology is designed to assess the practical skills gained either on the job or from previous training courses for electrical workers that want to meet the standards required by the EWRB in order to meet Stage One and Two practical requirements for New Zealand Registration.

General requirements
This short course is for candidates who have been advised by the Electrical Workers’ Registration Board (EWRB) of their eligibility to be assessed for Stage One and Two Practical Skills.
To attend the course, you must have required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gear, which includes safety (capped) footwear and safety glasses. We recommend that you bring your toolbox, which must include (but not limited to):
