What you will study
In KTH Royal Institute of Technology's RAMP Course 2 - Management of Work-Related Injury Risks using RAMP II, the objectives are that the student acquires hands-on training on how to perform systematic risk management, from identification and assessment of risks to the development of solutions and action plans, using the RAMP tool. This includes hands-on training in carrying out risk assessments with the RAMP II module and learning how to interpret the results, as well as how to proceed in the risk management process.
After successful completion of this course the student shall:
- be able to use all four modules in the RAMP tool
- familiar with commonly used musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) risk assessment methods
- able to carry out in-depth assessments of MSD risk factors using the second module in the RAMP tool, RAMP II
- able to develop risk reducing solutions and action plans by using RAMP Results and Action modules
- familiar with how to present results from risk assessments to different stakeholders within an organization
- able to make informed decisions on how to proceed with the risk management process
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- ÖVN1: a digital part with videos, reading material, assignments (including questions and discussions) and examination (ÖVN1). Here 6 modules are included.
- INL1: An assignment, which partly is based on a research paper.
- SEM1: four webinars via Zoom with discussion of and reflection on course material and assignments in ÖVN1 and INL1.
