What you will study
In KTH Royal Institute of Technology's RAMP Course 3 - Proficiency in using RAMP for Risk Management of Work-Related Injuries, the main objective is that the student becomes proficient in how to use the RAMP tool for systematic risk management of MSDs in manual handling jobs.
After successful completion of this course the student shall:- be skilled in applying all four modules in the RAMP tool for MSD risk management
- be able to collect relevant and comprehensive information of the work tasks to be analysed
- be able to identify risks using RAMP I and RAMP II
- be able to assess risks using RAMP I and RAMP II
- be able to develop risk reducing solutions and action plans
- be able to communicate the results to various stakeholders
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- ÖVN1: a digital part with videos, reading material, assignments (including questions and discussions) and examination (ÖVN1). Here 7 modules are included: Course Description, Summary of Course 1 & 2, Heavy Lifting & Adverse Postures, Working with the RAMP Programs, The Risk Management Process, Repetitive Work, and a The End of the Course module.
- INL1: An assignment, which partly is based on a research paper.
- SEM1: four webinars via Zoom with discussion of and reflection on course material and assignments in ÖVN1 and INL1.
