What you will learn
After successful completion of the Thermal-Hydraulics in Nuclear Energy Engineering course offered by KTH Royal Institute of Technology, students will be able to:
- describe the thermal and thermodynamic processes that take place in a nuclear power plant,
- formulate, analyze and solve simple problems in heat transfer in complex systems,
- formulate, analyze and solve simple problems in single- and two-phase flows,
- analyze dynamic and thermal loads in complex systems,
- perform a simple thermal design of a nuclear power plant,
- reflect on thermal limitations in nuclear power plant.
