Key facts
You should have either completed Elementary Chinese 2 (LGXC005) or have learned Chinese up to the required level elsewhere. The Open University UK's Elementary Chinese 3 course has no formal assessment, but you will complete a quiz at the end of each unit to test your knowledge. All the audio materials are accompanied by transcripts. The quiz questions and answers, glossary of the key vocabulary, as well as most audio clips, are downloadable.
