Overview
What you will study
The ESEH Summer School - Climate in History offered by University of Bern consists of lectures, presentations, and hands on-exercises.
The anthropogenic climate change and related environmental changes will affect, and have already affected, human societies. Examples from the past can offer detailed insights on the complexity of these climate-society interactions. However, accessing relevant climate data and carrying related statistical analyses can hinder scholars from the humanities to include climatic aspects in their studies.
