At the end of the Shandong University International Summer School on Chinese Archaeology, participants will have:

- Basic information about the human past
- The main questions about Archaeology
- The major issues in Ancient China within a global context to explore the divergent and convergent of Paleolithic between the east and west Old World
- The early processes of globalization and connections across Eurasia during Neolithic and Bronze Age

General requirements
- Students who can speak English can apply for it, and students who have background in Mandarin are preferred.
- Students whether from history, archaeology, anthropology, or other humanities or social science related field are welcomed.
- No background in anthropology is required.
