What you will learn
At the end of the Intermediate Surgical Skills workshop offered by Gulf Medical University , participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate local anesthesia techniques respecting local soft tissue anatomy and physiology of healing
- Demonstrate effective technique of advanced surgical suturing including bowel anastomosis
- Demonstrate techniques of hemostasis
- Assess various soft tissue injuries and implement appropriate primary surgical management of infected and contaminated wounds.
