Overview
Features
A network consists of a larger number of the communication devices like Routers, Repeaters, Hubs and Switches. A router works like a traffic light between the networks. Without routers there would be no Internet.
Today, IP is the main protocol in use on the Internet, as it is a routed protocol. A routing protocol specifies how routers communicate with one another.
The routing protocol also specifies how routers in a network share information with each other and report changes. Some of the common routing protocols include IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS and BGP. This Foundations of TCP-IP and VoIP course is offered at IDC Technologies.
