Most critically ill children present to general hospital emergency departments, where low pediatric volumes, few pediatric trained clinicians, and limited pediatric resources often create barriers to the rapid escalation of care and definitive treatment. This Pediatric First Action Simulation Training course offered by Johns Hopkins University will discuss this subject.
