- Laser core knowledge and health and safety
- Laser use in oral hard tissue and aesthetics
- Core knowledge and International Electrotechnical Commission Guidelines: satisfying CQC (England), HIW (Wales) and RQIA (Northern Ireland). This is taught by a Laser Protection Advisor (LPA). A certificate of attendance is provided which fulfills CQC requirements
- Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy: mechanism of action and clinical applications
- Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT)

This course is structured to benefit hygienists and therapists without laser experience in the field of periodontology and implantology.
Some experience of using lasers is desirable. However, this isn't necessary in order for you to benefit from this enhanced level of education.
