During University College London (UCL)'s Painting (Evening Course) course you'll develop a set of criteria which will help you to explore ways of representing perceived objects, and allow you to consider further possibilities within painting in your own time.
Programme Structure
- The course explores the idea of perception as the starting point for visual enquiry.
- In each session you'll focus on a particular set of formal issues underpinning the nature of painting. Special attention is placed on colour and composition.
- You'll paint from objects, the human figure, memory and secondary sources. At two sessions you'll paint from a life model.
- You can choose to work with oils or acrylic.
