Key facts
University College London (UCL)'s Practical Restorative Tips for Dental Therapists - Part 1 will help you to:
- develop skills and gain confidence in examining, diagnosing and planning restorative treatment for a number of situations, including routine cases and dental emergencies
- update your practical skills in using composite resin in anterior teeth
- deal with emergency treatment in dental trauma cases
By the end of the day, you'll have learnt about the different restorative filling materials for both provisional and definitive restorations.
On returning to your practice, you should be able to put these clinical skills to use immediately, working with increased confidence and competency.
