Overview
What you will study
All students of the Developing leadership skills course offered by University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) are expected to engage in practice with activities such as leading a change or innovation, linking to leadership frameworks, and meeting regularly with a critical friend or mentor. We involve service users and carers in both e-learning and taught modules, encouraging students to post questions and enquiries that will shape the discussion. Core themes are those of personal knowledge and reflection; leading and working in teams and developing leadership skills and competence. A range of leadership theories and approaches are explored.
