What you will study
The English Plus Summer Schools offered by University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is designed to focus on improving student’s speaking and listening skills and develop their confidence in English. We also focus on vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing. Using contemporary teaching methods, our approach is to study and learn English in an interactive and inclusive environment. All study weeks include exciting midweek trips and activities, with classroom work, tasks and projects linked together to maximise language and cultural learning.
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- Taught by specialist academic staff
- 17 hours classroom contact with maximum 20 class size
- Explore the UK with midweek trips to the Lake District, Liverpool and Manchester (one trip per week)
- Full access to University learning, support and leisure facilities
