Overview
What you will study
The Netball Coaching and Officiating course offered by The University of Lancashire is the first step on the officiating pathway. You'll learn the basic rules of the game, as well as some of the basic positioning and movement. Enabling you to ‘whistle well’ whilst being an umpire.
The course is for people new to umpiring and new to the rules of the game. The first part of the award will be virtual sessions. You'll also complete a 15-minute practical assessment (organised by your member county) required to gain the full qualification.
