- Online tutorials on current technologies improving communication in healthcare systems.
- Worked examples online of how telehealth can be delivered.
- An understanding of the governance of such systems and safeguards for patients using them.
- The role of heath regulators in tele health including ensuring new agreements on clinical indemnity.
- A short project demonstrating the wider application of an existing programme and how to encourage adoption.
- The socio-economic effects of tele health and its impact on traditional systems of care. You'll pay due regard to potential inequalities through lack of access to technologies.
- Ensuring safe systems in the design of tele health programmes. This includes data integrity and potential harm to individuals. There is emphasis on prescribing or changes in patient management plans and how safety is evaluated.
