What you will study
This Introduction to JavaScript Programming and DOM Scripting course offered by City, University of London covers the basics of programming using JavaScript, such as syntax and basic statements (for, while, if, functions, arrays, objects), the DOM (Document Object Model) and events.
In addition to core elements of the JavaScript language, you will learn how to use the DOM as well as external JavaScript libraries and AJAX. The course focuses on JavaScript best practices, such as unobtrusive JavaScript and progressive enhancement.
