Overview
What you will study
There will be comprehensive coverage throughout the Music Business Management course offered by City, University of London on the various Collection Societies, for example, MCPS, PRS, and PPL, who manage the legal rights to music and forms of royalties for writers and performers.
You will explore Major and Indie labels in detail and examine the practicalities and costs of music tours, such as promotion, merchandise and interviews.
You will be given examples of budget reports and other relevant information to be discussed. Materials are used to identify certain royalty rates and other figures discussed.
