Overview
The Renewable Energy Project Finance course offered by Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG course focuses on the attitude of banks towards risk as well as on the material risks faced by RE projects that are assessed by lenders and their external advisors during due diligence assignments.
Examples of bankability analyses are provided, namely for a German wind farm, a French PV power plant, and a Romanian biogas project. These case studies focus on the analyses of: assessments of forecasted annual energy generation; the revenue potential offered by the different national support systems; the risks associated with the relevant technologies and country investment frameworks; and project cash flows.
