What you will study
In the Future Aviation Challenges course offered by City, University of London , you will critically discuss the inherent societal and environmental challenges of orbital missions and suborbital flights and the risks associated with the current vehicle types.
You will critically discuss issues of environment and society in the UAS sector as one of the fastest growing and most dynamic segments within aviation industry.
By your pre-reading study and module session interaction, you will gain insights into novel technology, with higher safety risks, operating in and near to controlled airspace. This is disruptive technology that challenges the status quo and will help you expand your knowledge in line with the evolving future challenges in aviation.

- There is no prior knowledge required for this module, other than a general awareness of the aviation industry practices – there is a pre-reading resource list that will help you prepare for the course.
