Key facts
- You are given the opportunity to develop your research capability through designing and implementing your own research proposal.
- The aim of the course in Developing Research Capability offered by Middlesex University is to support you to undertake a scholarly inquiry and develop a critical understanding of social science research and its contribution to your professional field of practice.
- We use an action based inquiry approach which requires you to engage with your research topic from the beginning. You complete the module over one calendar year by producing a dissertation / research project report.
Teaching dates
- You will attend five one-day workshops held monthly, usually on Wednesdays Times: 10.00am – 1.00pm and 1.30pm – 4.00pm

- NSA 4050 is for students who have graduated from Middlesex University with a PGDip in Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing or Mental Health Practice and who wish to 'top up' to a MSc Nursing Studies or Mental Health Studies.
