What you will study
Students of the Project Management with Microsoft Project course offered by California State University, Dominguez Hills will gain an understanding of "out of the box" software and how to customize it to the particular needs of different projects. Students will perform all the features and functions demonstrated as well as perform individual exercises to reinforce the material. Students will also be required to build their own personal project. At the end of this course, students will know how to create schedules, develop cost-loaded baselines, track progress and produce meaningful reports for stakeholders, as well as customize the software to their preferences. As part of the Capstone exercise, students will create an entire project of their choosing, employing the practices they learned in the course.
