Overview
What you will study
A project is successful when it achieves its objectives and meets or exceeds the expectations of the stakeholders. Understanding how to identify and manage stakeholders is a vital part of your project. This includes who is directly responsible for completing a task, who has final authority, who needs to be consulted, and who simply needs to stay informed. Leaving out an important person or function at the outset could jeopardize the success of your project.
The Stakeholder Management course offered by Toronto Metropolitan University will help you learn how to identify key stakeholders, assess their level of interest and influence, understand their expectations, and forecast their readiness for change.
