What you will study
With change and disruption in our daily lives, maintaining health and well-being is more critical than ever. Understand how we respond to change, recognize stressors proactively, and find constructive ways to communicate feelings and reactions to transitions. Increase resilience and ability to rebound from setbacks as a result of change in the workplace. By understanding how most people experience and progress through change, learners of the Developing Change Resilience course offered by Brock University will better be able to look at their own responses, apply techniques to increase their resilience and constructively participate in the future.
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- Understand how people typically progress through change
- Recognize your own change readiness and typical responses to change
- Explore your own circle of influence as a helpful perspective in times of change
- Find constructive ways to communicate feelings and provide feedback
- Review available mental health and resiliency supports
- Develop an action plan to apply your learning immediately back on the job.
