What you will study
In Basic Welding program offered by Lethbridge College , you will learn how to safely use various materials, tools and techniques integral for stick welding. This course covers the basics of oxy-acetylene cutting and shielded metal arc welding (aka stick welding) with related theory and practical lab instruction. You will learn how to weld common joint types on mild steel that is often encountered in manufacturing, construction, and repairs. Increase your good welding habits by getting hands-on experience in shielded arc welding, and torch cutting, and care for equipment. What’s stopping you?
