Key facts
This course is for the student who wishes to create an ecommerce site but has no prior experience in doing so. Using Shopifys ecommerce platform, students engage in a step-by-step simulation that will result in a ready-to-go live virtual storefront. Students will be able to operate their own ecommerce site whenever they are ready to launch it. The learning process will include reading some contextual/theoretical background and engaging in self-scoring quizzes prior to spending most of course time constructing then simulating and operation of a Shopify-based ecommerce website in achieving the following course learning requirements: 1. Articulate the functionality differences between an ecommerce site versus an online business. 2. Articulate the benefits of using a developed ecommerce platform for an ecommerce site. 3. Create a working model of an ecommerce shop capable of being launch live.
