Key facts
This course aims to deepen our knowledge of professional practice with the goal of increasing our competence and skills as caregivers. The course will explore the Canadian healthcare system, consent and capacity, rights and ethics as well as self care concepts and the uniqueness in our role as a caregiver. The course will also build upon previously introduced concepts of confidentiality, boundaries and caregiver burnout.
