Overview
What you will study
Most learning research is conducted under controlled conditions with populations that vary from those you are working with. Research can also vary in quality – in how it was completed and how the findings or claims are drawn – making it challenging to apply neuroscientific research to educational practice.
The Diving Deep into the Science of Learning in Practice - Exploring Areas of Interest course offered by University of Queensland will enhance your ability to source and evaluate the relevance and quality of learning research and effectively translate it into practice within your educational setting. You’ll get to upskill while exploring the research area that most interests you.
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- Review the science of learning (giving new students essential knowledge and returning students the opportunity to review their understandings).
- Enhance your skills in discerning the quality of research literature.
- Understand how to identify critical information and effectively translate it to a broader audience and into teaching practice.
- Dive deep into the research literature on a topic of interest to you.
