Academic and industry leaders have designed this Promoting Positive Student Behaviour in School course offered by University of Queensland to give you the knowledge and skills to promote positive student behaviour.
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- Learn what makes a supportive school environment by examining the differences between effective and less successful schools.
- Be informed by different approaches to behaviour management in creating a positive school climate.
- Understand your students’ psychological needs, and how to establish guidelines and rules for your classroom.
- Learn how to foster interpersonal and helping relationships through cooperative learning.
- Acquire knowledge and strategies to deal with bullying and harassment.
