What you will study
Co-designed by academic and industry leaders, the Process Control and Analytics - Basics course offered by University of Queensland has four modules that can be tailored to the requirements and knowledge of the participants. It offers a practical approach, with real-life case studies and examples of best practices relevant to mineral processing plants.
Programme Structure
The program focuses on:
- Understand the basic components of control systems.
- Explore the tuning of PID controllers and methods commonly applied for tuning different control loops.
- Gain practical experience using Loop Pro simulation software.
- Appreciate common control strategies for operating units in mineral processing plants, their pros and cons, and common problems in practice.
