Toxic stress sabotages development and well-being – the brain and the body struggle to function effectively, the consequences of which, can be far reaching. This short course looks at the impact of adversity and toxic stress on development, focussing on the brain. Educators will build their knowledge and understanding of children and adolescents whose development has been interrupted by toxic stress and trauma.
