NACing_202: Assessing the Healthy Eating Environment at Early Childhood Education and Care Services is designed to assist Authorised Officers when assessing early childhood education and care services against the National Quality Standards (NQS) relevant to healthy eating, as determined by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority (ACECQA).

Course content- Food - this module covers the Australian Dietary Guidelines and the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating, how to recognise fad diets and understanding nutrition information labels.
- Leadership, communication and partnerships - this module covers the importance of good role modelling and communication with parents.
- The Food environment - this module focuses on the mealtime environment, in particular food-sharing practices and the use of food in celebrations or as a reward.
