Overview
This Fit Testing for Respiratory Protective Devices course at Edith Cowan College is divided into two parts. The first part covers the theory behind respiratory fit testing and will be completed on-line using the ECU Short Course Learning Management Platform. The second part is on the practical aspects of respiratory fit testing, which will normally be a face-to-face workshop of 2 to 3 hours, depending on class size. To received a Certificate of Successful Completion you will need to pass a test in both parts. Currently a successful completion will prepare participants to undertake the RESP-FIT Accredited Fit Testing exam at a reduced fee.The course will cover the syllabus as prescribed by the RESP-FIT organisation.

Successful completion of this course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to undertake a Respiratory device fit test according to AS/NZS1715. In addition it will provide participants with the background needed to pass the RESP-FIT Accredited FIT Testing exam and currently a reduced fee for the exam.Programme Structure
