Overview
TBS Education's Winter School offers a Global Sustainable Tourism course.
Tourism is a huge part of our global culture, allowing us to explore different parts of the world, meet people from differnt parts of the world and experience new traditions and activities. However, the industry is changing and the challenge of climate change and our role in escalating it continues to make a sizable impact. Across all industries, our global community is thinking about ways to lessen our impact on the earth. Sustainable tourism can be defined as a kind of tourism that has more benefits than negative impacts, especially relating to the environment, the economy and communities. Truly sustainable and responsible tourism should make destinations better for people to live in as well as visit.
ABOUT ISO
Academic well-being is at the heart of TBS Education and our student-centered approach. The TBS Education International Student Office (ISO) understands that moving abroad can be challenging. In addition to the logistics behind moving; finding housing and packing up your things; international students are also faced with finding insurance coverage, visa obligations, banking and healthcare. On top of this comes the challenge of constructing a social network in a foreign country where you may or may not speak the language.Programme Structure
