Overview

What you will study

The Environmental Humanities course offered by University of Bristol will help you learn new skills and share your experiences and knowledge in interactive sessions that invite you to think about the different ways people, communities and societies understand and engage with nature, from the city to the planetary.

Bristol is bordered by hills and an estuary. It has parklands, nature reserves, underground rivers, a towering gorge and thriving night-time ecologies. This makes the city the ideal case study for us to examine the global realities of human relationships with the rest of the natural world.
