Key facts
This international course offers 3,5 days of lectures and discussions centered on the biology of immunity and cancer immunotherapy. Conferences are delivered by experts who will present the latest developments in the different fields of immunology, including innate immunity, myeloid and lymphoid cell biology, and the microenvironment’s role in the activation of immunity. A thematic session will cover the state-of-the-art in cell therapy for cancer. A round table on industrial opportunities associated to immunotherapies and career development in the field of immuno-oncology will be organized. Participants will have the opportunity to present their research during two poster sessions and may be selected for a short oral presentation.

Programme Structure
- The course organised by the LabEx DCBIOL aims to provide to the participants, free of charge, 3,5 days of state-of-the-art lectures in immunology, including cancer immunotherapy. The course will include elements of basic, translational, and medical research. Speakers have been selected based on their excellence in research and ability to communicate their results to an audience. By regrouping for 3,5 days speakers and participants, we expect to greatly foster discussions, that could lead to collaborations. This will be favored by the organization of poster and short talk sessions delivered by the participants. A round table on industrial opportunities associated to immunotherapies will further allow to reflect on career choices in the field. Overall, this course will participate in building a network in the field of immunology and immunotherapy (researchers, care givers and industrial partners).
