What you will learn
In the Failure of Structural Materials course offered by Cranfield University , the use of fracture will be treated in some depth. The mechanics of fibre-reinforced composite materials will also be discussed. Particular reference will be made to composite materials, modern developments in the treatment of brittle fracture and fatigue using fracture mechanics and materials selection.
