  • Critically discuss the evidence for and current best practice in the surgical management of a range of tumour types, e.g. GI, Gynae, Urological, breast, hepatobiliary
  • Evaluate the issues involved in perioperative care and discuss the role of the multidisciplinary team members in helping to resolve these
  • Critically discuss recent advances in surgical management, minimal access technique and modern imaging technologies
  • Demonstrate an awareness of the future prospective of cancer management by surgery and where this fits into cancer management strategies as a whole.
